Just curious

Down below Grandpa Love shows his newly purchased Oliver 77 & a MM R. I grew up with tractors of this era. The MM- R has a belt pulley installed. The Oliver has a place for one. No new tractors of today are equipped with a belt pulley. The question: What year was the last year for new tractors to come with belt pulleys? Thanks.

Your question depends on the pulley location you prefer. Lots of later model tractors had the belt pulley option to fit on the tractor rear PTO shaft too.

case 730/830 could be had with belt pulley til at least 1964 and the place to put the pulley is on them through 68 in the non-case-o-matic tractors.

They were an option that you slid over your pto into the 1970s on JDeere. I've seen one that was for a 4020 john deere. I know Ford had the same option but for how long i don't know.

I believe the 06 series had a pulley option available. If so they would probably fit into the 70's on the 66 series. It seems I remember it went on at the PTO for them.
