I use a coffee filter to filter the roundup and water I put in sprayer.
I took a cheap plastic funnel and put on the end of sprayer. The funnel keeps the overspray from getting on the flowers. As you can see I was able to kill just the weeds between the road and flowers without killing the flowers. It worked better than I thought. Wish I had a clear funnel to take the guesswork how much roundup I applied. Another upside, I can't smell the overspray. Instead you can see the funnel catches it and drips a little roundup.
Good idea or not? Try it first.
