Is anyone familiar with farymann diesels? I have the opportunity to take one that was in a sail boat. It is seized. Has trannie and starter.

They are big in the UK. Makers of small military units. Not sure what they build over all. But they have a very good reputation.

Ditto on reputation.
Not trying to talk the OP down, but be aware that seawater is NOT kind to engines.

It is seized but the bearings and everything seems ok suggesting it was a water issue. I'll investigate further. Given it is a complete engine for nothing, I'll have some fun messing around, maybe some success.
