Are These Worth Buuying.

Friend bought a 55 hp YTM. It only one year old. Friend found out a tractor is only as good as
the dealer, which is about 30 miles away. He regrets buying it.

I helped him a lot with my T5C, terramite. He calls it Might Moe. He's talking about buying one.
He likes diesels and is looking at the T7 and T9.

Friend thought he got a good deal on the YTM. All good deals need a good dealer to stand behind
them or need to know how to fix them yourself, which I do on all my tractors.

Made by Mitsubishi in Japan. Excellent tractors. They made similar models for IH in the 80s , and other makes that needed a smaller tractor. Old just worked on a Cub Cadet, by Mitsubishi.

Parts can be found but are neither plentiful nor cheap. That model uses a Mazda gas engine that was also used in Yale fork trucks. Really hard to find parts other than tuneup stuff which is available at NaPA. As long as it runs and works well and priced well below a comparable Yanmar I'd consider it.

I had a Satoh S630, a 25 hp diesel variant, also a Mitsubishi product and it was solid little machine with a backhoe and loader . I used a local IH dealer, back when we had one, for parts for it. I would find asimilar IH model and look up the part.

bad news is parts are hard to find/expensive, good news you shouldn't need many parts.

Would a Case/IH implement carry parts for them?

I remember the first tractor I really used much was a 23hp cub we had at a church camp. I used it for mowing and light loader work. Was a mitsu motor and getting an alternator for it cost $700.. this was in the early 2000s so maybe more parts are available now with internet growth, but it's put a sour taste in my mouth for em. It was a good small tractor though, I just can justify that price for parts.

Hi, I think I would buy it at that price. A chev
alternator would work. $75. If you needed it. Very
handy little tractor. My friend had a mitzu
excavator that worked hard every day and just
would NOT quit.

Case ih dealer might could get you some things but I wouldn?t hold
my breath to long you?ll likely turn blue . Dad had a grey market
yammar and although it never needed any parts it was a good thing it
didn?t .

I did some research on the web and everyone says the same thing, parts are too hard to find and could cost a lot if you do find any. I think I'll pass on this tractor. I'd hate to have something like that breaks down and have to be parked because of lack of replacement parts.
