Trying to figure out radiator pressure difference on aearly 50 and a late 50 need to fix my filler neck on the early one but only the pressure type is available do you think it would blow up my core? Or not built that much pressure? Thanks Howard

You could probably find a very low pressure cap, like a 2-4 lb cap.

As for blowing the core, no it won't blow, but you may find some leaks you didn't know you had.

You could try it and see what happens. If it works, and it mat work just fine, leave it. But if it causes problems leave the cap loose or disable it by removing the check disc.
