Simplicity 7790 Diesel questions

Wife's cousin has her late father's 7790 that's been sitting in a shed for ~5 years. Wants to sell it so I said I'd try to get it running. No manuals. Before I eff anything up, is there anything special to check before I try to crank it over?

I plan on some fresh fuel and oil. Also plan on checking the hydro fluid.

Any other tips or comments are welcome too.

Thanks, I had seen that a couple days ago and sounded like his had not been sitting for so long.

My main concern is that I've heard about some types of injector pumps getting "stuck" if sat around too long and then being damaged if you try to start the engine.
