Recently I enquired about buying a newer cutter for mowing CRP. I bot the Land Pride cutter for $2700 loaded on my trailer. Got it home OK and unloaded it with the loader. Hooked it onto the 1850, Wow!! That thing is HEAVY!! Had to go to town and buy hydraulic hoses to make hoses long enough to reach the tractor. The wing cylinder hose has a JD end on it and I couldn't get it loose to change the end to Pioneer, so I got a adapter for the one hose. I have to grease all the pto joints and let it down and check gearboxes and loosen slip clutches and make sure they aren't stuck and then I can try it out. The hitch jack is gone. How heavy of a jack do I need for this? I looked online and they go from 2000#s to 7000#s lift capacity. I don't want to get one too small and have it fail. It's an older machine and needs some patching on it, but it should do what I need to do. Chris
