Kubota ztr?

Ever see a Kubota break an axle? My neighbor need a lift to put his ZTR in
trailer to haul to the emergency room for repairs. I picked up the back
corner while he drove it onto a tilt trailer.

I think it may have more to do with how he drives it. The guy is smaller than I am. I weigh
180#. BTW. That mower is heavy. The faster you go, the more it bounces. Something snapped the
axle off.

I've seen it happen with a Steiner 2WD diesel mower, Steiner admitted there was a problem and the replacement axles where a lot heavier.

George have the guy give me a tick , have many axels laying here. Have about 40 zero Kubotas parted. Can save him big bucks. Most of the broken axels are when someone jumps off a curb. Takes about 30 minutes to change it and be ready to go.

Had one on a Gravely break.

It had a Hydro-gear axle. The replacement was heavier, larger diameter bearing with everything to make the change.

Talked to the Hydro-gear factory, very helpful and knowledgeable. He even suggested I buy the replacement kit from Ebay instead of a dealer!

Had a neighbor kid mowing with one of the kubota and the snap ring that holds the axle in broke off. Caught it before the axle fell off
