Hello everyone I recently acquired a disc for cheap it is a great condition indusco model pb53 offset disc the thing is built like a tank. The guy I got it from used it on a ford 8n which has a rear lift of 800lbs I have a kubota b8200 that claims to have a lift of 1280 lbs according to tractordata.com. I was wondering if anyone knew what the weight of this offset disc was? Because my kubota struggles to lift the thing. If it is under that my hitch maybe getting tired or if it is over that the previous owner may have just drug it and never lifted it at the row ends. Any help would be much appreciated. It is about 4 1/2 maybe 5 foot wide offset disc. And roughly 5 to 6 foot long. I just stepped it off because my 2 year old made my tape measure seem to disappear lol. Thanks in advance. I added some pictures of it sorry about quality of the serial plate.

The picture of the indusco pb53 again if anyone knows the weight of this thing it would be much appreciated.

If you look more deeply into the lift capacity of your 'Boat you will find that it also specifies a distance out from your hitch point. That disc hangs out a lot.

Been a KUBOTA dealer for over 30 years, sold lots of B8200s and just looking at that disk I think you are asking too much out of you little tractor. Like the other poster says the rating is AT the lift links , that disk extends a pretty good bit back.

Just for giggles. At the ends of the field you can always make a left turn. Hope I remember this correctly. The disk will pop out of the ground and just scuff the grass off. We used to have one of those really big IH disks with hydraulic lift. The wheels would come down.

Thanks a lot guys. I looked into the lift to length and it seems to drop off dramatically after 2 feet. I think I'm going to take the second gang off it and try to shorten the distance between to 2 and lighten up the frame some, just to see if that helps any. Or try to do what my wife said and just add hydraulic lift wheels to it, or buy a deere.
