Good for you for posting your experience. I get really disgusted with the arm chair experts that claim all oils are the same. As I said before, manufacturers spend a lot of money formulating oils to be compatible with the parts in their equipment.
On the flip side I am a little surprised that after the brakes were soaked in the wrong oil they would recover so fast. But I am glad they did.
