What to expect on suction screen filter pull

What will I find when cleaning a suction screen on jd 4000 series tractors such as 4020 4430 4440 etc. have heard a lot of people say that you will find metal shavings other kind of trash etc want to hear everyone option on this never have done one. Having to service tractor this weekend.

How about a pack of Camels?

Found that in the rear sump screen of my 8630 many years ago.

found a pack of winston in a same once. had a guy that sold fire wood for a living brought in his AC185 with hydrualic problems cleand out the screen
and sump found a big gob of white fluff about the size of a basket ball. turns out he was wraping disposable diapers around his bucket cylinders to
keep his oil from spraying all over from bad ram seals. that stuff probally went through his entire hydrulic system. so what ever you find could be a
suprise.

Would it be common to find some sort of metal fragments and particles in those suction screens, and if so does it mean that I could flush it with new fluids trans fluid and get by, all these tractor have run before and have never gave any problems.

My main concern would be getting any sludge off the bottom. One of my tractors had a lot in the rear housing when I did a rear split on it. Get it hot and run it around on terrain that will make the oil slosh.
