Hey, you're from Florida. You even know what one of them contraptions is?? *lol*

That's a mean lookin' beast! If it was any bigger, and being posted from someone in FL, I could likely be convinced it's an early-model hurricane pump.

How about you hand $21.57 to a FF cashier for a $6.57 tab......the blank looks......Oh I forgot, the computer in the register does the thinking for the correct change.

Obviously in gest.....however the "new" generation is not given enough credit. Sure EVERY generation has started out with some "shaky" members but they get it figured out just like the ones before. I see my kids and there friends doing great things. They work, have started businesses and go to college or trade school. They like most of us are sometimes unsure but I see them put there best foot forward and I think that is all we can ask. I thing if we are all truthful to ourselves and think back we were not the settled accomplished people from the start either. I know its easy to laugh and I do too but dont forget to encourage those that are at least out there trying.

That is a funny photoshop sign, but in all seriousness, that generation (our grandchildren) will put my generation (I'm in my 60s) to shame as far as creativity, inventiveness, and critical thinking goes. Their children will be smarter and more creative yet.

Yep!
There are websites where you can add any text you want into the picture. Just like I did to that snow thrower picture.

How would you like to be the person in the first post?
Always being shown all over the net as some stupid person when she never put that or any other sayings on any signs anywhere.

Ha, My first 40 years were growing up in southwest Michigan.
Getting piled on by lake effect snow.
There were a few years where the county road department wished they had something as big as that.

And as long as they know to just enter what you gave them as amount tendered what does it matter? Heck I'm 63, I have seen people my age or older who can't figure it our either.

It's kinda like when I was a young soldier when we were ordered to do something that made little or no sense. Ask my SGT why are we doing this and get told "just shut up and do it, I did it when I was a VPT and it didn't hurt me none". We can do things better, smarter and faster than ever before IF and only IF we are willing to embrace new things and new ways of doing things.

So True. I have a couple of grandsons paying their way through school without their single mom having to work overtime to get them through and haven't asked me for a penny. Pretty impressed with that. The younger one wants to finish law school. My comment was based on having to do it in your head when I worked for my dad in his restaurant as a kid and later on when using a slide rule on math problems, having to get to the lowest terms to be able to set the decimal as the "rule" gave you the number, not where it was in reality.
