So i narrowed down the part i needed on my NH 8260 cab tractor, picked it up at the dealer and thought it would fix the problem but no such luck. One day i got on it, started it up and was given an error code (E65...high solenoid open circuit) on the dash, the tractor would not move at all, after starting it up several times i was on my way, does good on the low side of each gear but if you hit the rabbit button on the shifter the tractor stops and E65 flashs with the alarm. The part i bought was 82008511, which is a solenoid valve w/spool for the hi and low. Dealer seemed to think this was the problem, but i still do not have high range. i don't know what to try next, could it be a bad ground or a wire chewed into by a mouse?? It was working good one day and did this a couple days later. Any help would be appreciated.

When I worked at new Holland we had a brand new ts115 that wouldn?t even drive itself off the delivery truck from the factory countries solenoid changes and trying this and trying that finally got it to work well enough to get it sold for good tried selling it 3 times and it kept getting sent back nobody wants a brand new tractor that won?t move. Also sold a brand new tv140 that would run fine for an hour too and then shut off brought it back to the shop still under warranty ended up lifting the cab and found a pinched wire beteeen the cab and the frame

Open circuit is broken wire, bad connection in a plug or new solenoid has a burned out coil. Computer is telling you it can?t electrically see the high solenoid connected to it.

Since your hydraulic pump wore out it is logical to think that your transmission clutch pac seals are worn out too. That is the way it went with my 8240. One year the pump went the next the transmission. It sounds like one of your clutch pac seals is worn too much to hold the pressure. This can all be checked out on the onboard computer. You can do leak down tests and it will tell you the condition of the various clutch pac seals.
