Another PSB question

I'm cleaning up one of my heads. Where the lines attach the threads are slightly damaged but I can probably clean them up. I thought instead I would swap them out with some others I have. Come to find out one set has copper washers and the other doesn't. Is one set more desirable to use than the other? I also saw some pitting on the base of a few of them with the copper washers. I have pics but they won't upload.

I don?t know what a PSB is but a web search seems to say it is a diesel injection pump of some
type. Thought it would be nice to clarify for others. Can?t help you with your question though.

Early heads used copper gaskets on the outlet fittings, later heads did not. Both used 9/16 X 18 thread pitch, with the Ermeto line sleeve. Pitting below the seal area won't hurt, IF bore and fitting are CLEAN. Otherwise you will send trash into the injectors soon after startup..

I HATE when people talk in acronyms and assume everyone knows what they're talking about.

It is short for ?American Bosch model PSB?, a single-plunger
multiple cylinder injection pump used on many diesels in the
1940?s into the early 1960?s.
Oliver (many models), Allis Chalmers (WD45D), Massey
Harris 33-555 Diesels, maybe others.

Thank you dieseltech. I assumed they are interchangeable? I just didn't know if one was more preferable? Guess I will use the ones without as they're in better condition. I have been cleaning them with a tiny wire brush. I will hit them with brake clean and blow them out too.
Sorry guys for leaving you out. Figured if you didn't know what PSB was you surely would not understand my question.
