Someone dinged the door on our Jeep so it's at the dealer body shop getting fixed. They gave us a 2017 Ram Hemi Rebel while it's getting fixed. 395 hp sure would love to keep it and afford the gas to go with it. What a beautiful truck.

It sure is! I'm pretty sure after a few trips to the gas pumps and a record of the frequency of visits the novelty would soon wear off lol

Mileage isnt bad if you keep your foot out of it, yeah like that's gonna happen. 17 in town, 23 hwy. Actually gets better mileage than the 6 cyl. Especially towing. Turned in a '16 hemi lease and got the 6. Shoulda bought the hemi!

What is bad mileage? My '13 Hemi making the 395 hp,(but not until 4600 rpm) gets 18 too 20 MPG in mixed driving. Between 8 and ten hauling a 7000# camper. Of course I can make it really suck down the gas,but why?

I think the mileage is great for a 5200 lb machine.

My 16 Hemi makes 395 HP in my Challenger, but of course the car weighs about half what that truck does. But it will get 26 miles per gallon if I keep my foot out of it. Does the truck engine cut back to four cylinders when it can? My hemi does that seamlessly and lets me know with a dash display how many cylinders it is using, and that feature saves a lot of fuel I think.

I'm not sure if it does or not? I did discover it has a
power lift function though for raising for off road or
lowering to get in or out easier.

I know I wouldn't want it chasing me in the jeep lol they make a rebel also with the 707hp hellcat engine too.

I guess I will have to stick with my paid for '96 with the V10 keep it under 65 and it does pretty good on fuel.
