New to the Forum, new owner of a box cat, starting to clean, paint and assemble without a manual yet, sadly!
Wondered if anyone knew how much torque to apply to the drive sprocket nut.

Be happy for a ballpark number to start with.
Thanks

IIRC you might find that number in previous threads at

DadsdozerHD5 here agrees with Hector 1500 ft lbs

Thanks for the number. I've found what may be a repair Manual on ebay. But for now I'll just hang my 150# carcass on the end of a 10 ft pipe over the handle of my wrench. I removed the old nearly toothless sprocket and I don't remember the nut being all that tight. Both splines were like new? ?
