What type of gas cap is required vented or non-vented?

The Tank should be vented up on the top so non vented.

The tank has it own vent but I would still use a vented cap due to the fact that tank vent gets clogged on many and causes major head aches.

The 8N has a vented tank but just about all of the OEM vents have long since become clogged.

Get a vented cap to avoid issues.
