Finished last weeks deck job. Nice look with round post and rope and cable rails,very lake looking! Got home early and planted sweet taters and corn. Got the potatoes in yesterday afternoon. Also got brush pile burning. Poor old cub PTO came loose so my wife had to use the lawn tractor.

Lucky you. We got almost 4 inches rain here in cullman. Thought it rain all over central to north al. No field work here for several days.
 
We got less than an inch of rain yesterday. Our job site , 15 miles away got over 3 inches. We were happy to see the sun for a bit today so we could finish that deck
 
nice job on the deck granpa, love the post and cable look and the ropes tying the posts. has a real nice rustic look. what happened with the cub pto?
 
When we unloaded it from the
tractor show on Saturday the shaft
and pulley had bounced out about 3
or 4 inches. It just pushes back
in but the little lever that
engaged it is a booger to line up.
I don't think there is any
retaining clip to hold it in. Just
the grip of the bearing....,

It has been 15 years or so since I've had mine apart, but I think
there is something other than the bearing to hold it in there.
I'll try to get the manual out tomorrow and verify that.
 
deck looks fine, Kevin.
we had just finished loading the car in Leesburg, when someone opened a faucet in the sky. it slowed down enough after a few minutes that we could get in the car without getting totally soaked. spending the night just into Virginia. should be home tuesday evening.
