Head replaced - it won?t crank

I replaced the Head and can?t get it to crank! I had to drain oil as it had water mixed and was thick gray! I set the valves per shop manual - but noticed after several tries that no oil is being pumped into top of head! If the oil pump is gummed up - will this Jeep it from cranking?? Please offer any case moment on getting it to fire again???

Only help I can give is with your terminology. When you say "no crank" do you mean there is no movement in the motor or do you mean it turns over but won't start? Others can help you but you should specify what you're working on and why you're working on it.
