RE: OT Pole Barn in Stages

Hello all!

I just wanted to (again) say thank you for all who replied to my previous post about building a pole barn in stages. It sounds like I am going to have to get together with a builder or design center to see what my most cost effective, and best option will be. For now, I just want to get something up (because I fear if we don't do it when we have the money we probably never will).

I have saved the whole conversation we had into a word document so that I can refer back to it when I need to, and look at specific areas that piqued my interest. You all gave a lot of good insight and personal experiences and I appreciate that! Lots of things to consider - also have to check local building codes to see what is allowed.

Thanks again everyone, and here is a little photo of some yard art I added to the collection yesterday - a two bottom Case plow. May restore it someday to make a good pair with the '41 Case SC.

Thank you, SweetFeet! It is starting to come together really nice. I have to give the Mrs. a lot of credit - she has a knack for making things pretty. I have a knack for.... Well, bringing home rust and making it run! Lol!

Yup. I have a friend who rode his snowmobile on the lake behind his house yesterday - still 23.5" where he measured the ice. Kind of funny, he said he went home after that ride and then took his Harley out. Snowmobiling and motorcycling in the same day... Only in Minnesota.
