Interesting auction going to on Saturday

just looked at the flyer brown swiss, the massey 1085 looks pretty rough? but there is a lot of cool old cars and trucks there! It's a good thing I live so far away, I could see me getting carried away there

Brown Swiss, The 770 looks like how the 77 was that I picked up at the auction last year. The Massey looks clean to me. Maybe the fenders for the Massey are hiding in one of the lots if you were closer I'd be interested in the Oliver cab. Maybe you'll see the guy's from American Pickers there! Good luck!

Good for You and Your cushie job and benefits ,I stayed on the farm by driving nails , cows , tractors and gals crazy by refusing to sell the farm , Hey , If You See me There in weatheredBibs ,hardened face and determined look , You will do well to Yield to my bids,I need that tractor on my Farm , Not a modernb/S junkpile trash that will rob me blind in repair bills for fake genius junk computer repairs . To me FFA always meant what it ALWAYS meant , Not fakefarmer

So what sounds like you think you made a bad choice and not happy with it,money talks and B-S walks.Nothing cushie about many good paying jobs I worked my butt off at a concrete and block plant for 25 years and it was just as hard or really harder work than farming. You picked your rut live with it.

You are right, the fenders are in the shed next to the tractor. Had me not interested until I seen them. The sheet metal is all strait, and the motor is loose so was hoping not to big a of a problem getting it going. I see a bearing out on the pto, checked oils and not full of water in rear end or motor, so will see!

You are realizing what I did early in life that it was nice to have some money in my pocket. I figured that if I wanted to be a farmer I would need a good off the farm job to afford to do so. It worked for me and I have no regrets.

That auction will be very interesting, some nice old guns, motorcycles, lawnmowers, and a slew of old cars and parts.

Also Maxwell Smart drove one on the TV show Get Smart. 5he story of how that car came to be is really funny. Look it up.

X 2 what this man said. It must be the saddest thing in the world to get near the end of the line and realize you are still having to hustle like a 25 year old just to put a piece of bread in your mouth.

I am sorry not all folks looked ahead and chose wisely, but I am tickled for those who make it to a good place! I am also grateful every day that I do not suffer from envy.

BrownSwiss,

That looks like a great auction!

Love all the rusty old cars, and the red one with the white top... and that weathered black '53 Renault is cute as a bug's ear.

Yup, I know two people who owned Tigers many years ago. Sold them before they got killed. Today they wish they still had them. NOW here we go with the trivia. How many cars were used in the intro ? What car was used in the pilot episode. One and only. Second car, the Tiger was used a lot. Third car was a blue Karrman Ghia. Fourth was a gold OPEL. Bet you never knew that one. Always like agent 99. Does youre shoe phone work? Now we have "Smart" phones. Get the joke? He he.

Smart intros.

That Ghia looks to be an early one, no bumper overriders, would like to see the taillites to tell more.
