Project Ideas

I had someone give about 50 of these steel panels. They are 16 ga and 3' x 6'.

I hate to just scrap them, but I'm kind of drawing a blank as to what I'd ever do with them.

I also got a few non-perforated panels. Those are in my sheet steel rack, but I don't have room for all the perforated ones...

Any ideas what I or somebody else could use them for?

What kind of paint is on them?
Something that would stand up to the weather?
If so, with a wood rail top and bottom I think they'd make dandy fence panels.

Shelving gets my vote too. Either angle iron for the frame or wood 2 x 4 if you have some laying around.

Basically flat. There is a small flange or offset on the long edges about 3/4" wide where another panel would bolt on.

Not where I live. There's sometimes a township or county burn ban on during bad dry spells but usually doesn't include a garbage barrel as everyone has one. They're talking about not burning sloughs or old buildings etc. Just use some common sense and check the wind and weather forecast before lighting up. Use an old wire screen over the top to catch sparks and such.
I still live in the land of the free for the most part.
