I'm over by chandlersville none here yet either.got a buddy who lives in Bremen he usually finds them a week before I do.

How far south has anyone found morel mushrooms?

Since moving south out of Michigan, I have always wondered.

In the spring usually around the first or second lawn mowing they show
up in my hack yard. Usually two or three. Several years ago there was
a bumper crop around seven or eight. Looked like a weird little bunch
of trees.

I'm in Missouri and I have yet to see any. Been to cold and to dry for them to show up yet. Likely to be a bad year for them but one never knows till it is past

I'm also in Missouri for those who don't know where I'm from, up by Mark Twain Lake.

Old, you are down by the Ozarks if I recall correctly. Been WAY TOO cold for any mushrooms yet. I haven't found any for the last two years, all I find is ticks crawling on me.

No one has found any by the Lake unless they are keeping their finds 'secret'. DOUG

Last year I found them for a week or so then nothing. Found around 70 one day but that was last year. I have a small island in my small lake and we call it mushroom island since that is where I find most of the ones I find. I still need to work on the bridge so I can get to the island with out getting wet.

Heard thru grapevine that they are being found in Danville. However there are a lot of fishermen in Danville
