In east central wis, remember that i had put out rain guage before blizzard, i was supprised to find 3 1/4" rain. We had sleet and rain the first day, about 1ft snow after that. Wow, if that had been all snow, thats 4ft! I doubt the snow added much to rain guage. We had about 2-3" ice, frozen shlush under the snow, soft ground under that, made plowing difficult. If you stayed on top of frozen slush, you could get stuck driving on it, if you got under the slush, you couldnt push thru it, or you were digging into dirt and gravel, wow. Checked my planting book, the last 2 years i planted oats, peas, and alfalfa on april 18

Yes, we have almost always had corn in by this date, will be at least couple more weeks if it warms up and quits snowing.

There is a rant by a meteorologist in Michigan that is funny, he looses it with everyone blaming him for the weather.

We didn't have it quite that bad, but 3/4 way there. Sure is a mess, the wet slush snow on top of thawed jello-like driveway with frost still in the ground, nothing settles down or dries out or freezes back hard.

Can barely walk across the yard, haven't driven in regularly for a month now. Terrible.
