Recommended Loader Tractor

About 28 years ago I bought a 1973 IH 766 tractor and put a model 3100 Duall loader on it. Pretty much it was used for loading about 700 round bales on semis, shredding weeds, cleaning up downed cottonwoods, and spreading fert. on grassland.
I'm in the mood for a good used replacement diesel loader tractor(with cab) & loader for the same purposes and am looking for your feed back.
$30,000 would be the most I would like to spend. Thanks.
 
4230/4430 Power Shift, with 158 loader. Just a choice of many good possibilities. Maybe a 40 series as well. I don"t think you can touch a 50 series MFWD with that budget.
 
Do you need it as a do everything
tractor or primarily a loader? I bought
a Deere 210c years ago and it is way
more loader than any simular sized farm
tractor with loader. Of course if you
need a 3pt and pto that's a whole
different story but for us had plenty of
other tractors already so a dedicated
loader tractor was great
 
There are a lot of possibilitys/good choices. However,since you are used to IH,what about a Hydro?Either a H186,or a 3488. Both are about a hundred horse,and have nice quiet cabs with AC and heat.

Yes, the power shift would be a great feature if the front end is strong enough for bales up to 2,000 lbs.

A industrial tractor that came with a FEL would be the best way to go.
