new holland 276 small square baler Drive chain sprocket

Hey! Near as I can tell, I have a new holland 276 small square baler, and I am wondering if anyone can tell me what this part is called? or a casting number? I cleaned it up, but I could not find a number on it... (Hopefully the images work)

If no part source is discovered, the sprocket can be cut off with a plasma torch the cut ground and turned, and a sprocket blank welded to it. Maybe for less than the new 9or

I guess I dont understand what you mean.... I have the gear removed, as you can see from the pictures I am missing several teeth on the gears....
 

Ah! Ok... I guess in a different font helped me decipher it! Lol! I get what you are saying now! That is a good idea....
 
I'll second the sprocket blank.

Can't tell from the picture, but if any chance the old sprocket is cast iron, it can be faced in a lathe and the new sprocket bolted on.

What condition is the other sprocket in? Best replace both if any wear. Running a new chain on a worn sprocket, or miss matched (one new, one worn) will cause rapid chain wear, poor tracking.
 
I have a 276 and I?m willing to help , but I can?t make any sense out of your post. What are you asking? I suggest you find the part on the new
Holland Parts website. Then you?ll know the name and the part number and if it?s available new.

New Holland/FIAT part #166031, still available for about $130. Kinda pricey, but unless you can do the machine work yourself, probably cheaper than having it repaired.

For not knowing what I needed, that helped a lot. thanks! I am just looking for some identification or something for that sprocket, so that way I can call the new holland place in town and order it. The link you gave me really helps thank you!
 
Save yourself some trouble and money. Call Fry's parts at 570-546-3968 and talk to them. They likely have them in stock at about
half or less what FNH wants for one. It'll be there in a couple of days....
