I have a neighbor here who has some corn in the ground. I would think it is in imminent danger of being "frosted". It has not been a severe winter here, but it's been the longest I can remember.

You would have to chain up the planting tractor to try it here now. We just received another nine inches of wet heavy snow! And we still had snow on the ground from the last one. Southeast MN

I think I have seen early get frost burn & still recover. Frost will kill early beans.

I had to replant 180 acres a few years back that got frosted and killed about 95% of it. Did not rework the ground. Just laced it in the old rows or tried..
