Is drying up, had to add a step. Proves true once
again; a few inches makes a difference.

Doesn't take much. Back when I had such bad back problems,I welded a piece of plate under the loader frame on the 1020 Deere so I could step on that instead of up on top of it to get on.

Pete ..... if that step is swinging like it appears to be, a guy would have to be careful when using it I think? If it pivots in, a little shin damage might result maybe?

While not ridgely attached it does have some limited movement, wanted some flex in the event I hit something. Easily removed for next owner. It only extends downward about 4 inches so it does not pose much problem.

Nice work gramps. Time was; hop on, jump off. Now hst with no tramission hump to cross and steps are required.

I sure didn't know getting old was gonna be this hard. I've had to put steps on all my tractors that didn't come with them so I can get on. I agree in years past it was climb on and jump off and I'm thinking that and a wreck might be why I need the steps now. If I'd have known I was gonna live this long, I'd have taken better care of myself (NOT). Keith
