Does anyone remember the story of the farmall h that sold at a mecum auction for $40,000? Money aside, that tractor is a one of a kind and Id like to see it someday. Other then saying it went to CT I cant find any more info on the owner or where it went. Anyone know? thank you, Mark

I'll bet after the initial excitement was over, he and the guy who just paid 200 grand for a 1971 Chevy Blaser on Barrett Jackson this week will both be saying "What was I thinking?"

Its suppose to be 100% original, with only a couple hundred of hours on it. But I recall the hood was a different shade of red.

I have read about it too. Wasn't anything special about it except low hours. Probably was a bidding war between some guys with enty of money.

Seems I remember seeing it on Mecum auctions? I remember it had original paint, but was there something else that made it special?
