Yesterday I attended the Stanley sale near Eudora,KS...Mr Stanley was reducing his farming operation and collection because of health issues..It was a real chilly day with wind and then light rain in the afternoon...It had been warm on Thursday and Friday but not for sale day...There was a nice crowd there and the selling prices were good..They'd had a good rain there on Friday evening....The Stanleys loved big rear tires on their tractors as they used to pull a Super Stock 806 IH many years ago....I think I remember pulling against them once..I heard that the 806 puller was still in the shed..

I had planned on going to that sale. When I got up I decided it was to cold and rain was supposed to be coming. I have a friend that lives about a mile away told me they got a pretty good rain the night before. I figured there was nothing on the sale I wanted bad enough to go. Thanks for the update. Did you happen to see what either of the hay wagons sold for?

The company I work for had a road tractor like that years ago, later converted to a dump truck. I loved driving that for some reason. Newer tractors just don't have that same feel.

Thanks for the photos and the prices. It's always interesting to see what good equipment sells for in different areas of the country. Love the big tires!

That seems like a low price for the anteater with those low hours. Did they say if it had some issues?

always enjoy your posts of auctions with pictures. Do you think the hours were right on the 2+2 for only 5600. seems really cheap for that low of hours. No green grass here in the north. snow been going horizontally past the windows for the past 2 days.

Wow! What a collection!

Lots of neat rust and other nice stuff. I'd take that little Cub with the belly mower. My husband would probably like that Super H. :)

Phil - Company I drove for in early 1980's had one really tired L9000, Shiney 290 & 10-spd Road Ranger, think it had a Million miles on it. Ran it from Davenport to Des Moines, Iowa one day with a small load of return tires from Farmall to Firestone. Cruised right along 48-50 loaded, tailwind got me up to 55 going home empty. I said it was tired! Normally I ran one of the White RoadBoss II's ordered by Standard Forwarding, 320 hp 903 Cummins & 6-speed Spicer trans governed for 67 mph. Ran an S2200 with 290-10 speed that was almost as tired as the Louisville for about a year. The Louisville was a really nice comfortable truck to drive.

If somebody had put me in a nice new Louisville like that one I'd still have a smile on my face! Probably still be driving it too! It would be right at home next to my '96 F-250 reg cab 4wd pickup with PSD.

Interesting collection of tractors. Interesting collection of BIG rear rims & tires on some of the tractors.

I was visiting with friends when the hay wagons and all the stuff that was on them sold so didn't get the prices...Sorry...And for those that asked about the 3588's condition I don't know much about it....It probably had more hours? He kept his stuff in good condition..

Wow! a lot of low hour machines and a lot of OLD iron. Thanks for posting, I really enjoy reading auction results to see what things are going for.
