I had a great week in Phoenix, hustled, hustled and met more people than planned. It is way too cold out for outside work this weekend, snow predicted for tomorrow, so time to work in the shop. I am planning to work on the CNC mill and 2 the X and Y axis finished up and start laying out the parts to make the Z axis work. I picked up the parts from one of my suppliers to finish the E stop circuit, so will putz on that.

I really am still learning to tune the steppers, have gotten confused by steps, micro steps and the settings on the driver, but think I have it now.
 
Glad you enjoyed the trip. I have 2 "Ex-Texan" sisters that chose AZ. for their later years. Must like it as they own property, have established businesses, and have no plans to leave. Actually both businesses support folks like you! Thanks for going (on their behalf). Wink.
 
I have an office with employees there, I have one more winter with kids at home, thinking about becoming a snow bird after that and working out of that office during the winter after all kids out of house.

jd I second that snowed here today(davids fault) snowing still (davids fault) should have stayed in phoenix david :lol:

we have to blame someone david :lol: the weather gods aren't listening to our prayers or our cursing :lol: glad you had a good trip, sounds like your going to make it an annual event! good idea.
