TW20 oil pressure

How do you check the oil pressure gauge? Then needle is at 5 o'clock with the engine running. I know you can check the temp gauge by grounding the wire. Is it the same for the oil pressure? Thanks

I have checked the sensor with an Ohms meter. it checks out. What is the other electric plug in under the oil filter, is that an oil pressure switch? I pulled out the dash to see that the needle on the gauge was stuck against the right side (at about 5 o'clock) I unstuck it then started the tractor to see no change, the needle just points straight right. I am still thinking it is the gauge itself. Any other suggestions would be fine. Thanks.

Well I put in a new oil gauge. That didn't change anything. So I pulled the wire off the sending unit. That made no change. So I went to the other tractor a TW5 same engine, pulled that wire off and the oil guage did the same thing Went straight to the right. So I tried to hook up the sending unit to the other tractor with a jumper wire, no difference. So As best as I can understand, it must be a short in the wire. So now I am in pursuit of the wiring diagram for the oil gauge. I think. Any suggestions. Thanks
