Do what you have to do. When I was in high school I worked for a local chain of tire and supply stores. Every Saturday, a gent would roll into town on his riding mower from 8 or 9 miles out of town and we'd take care of any maintenance needs it had while he shopped around our small town..groceries, meds...whatever. He had been a prisoner of war in the Pacific and had been treated horribly. Left him is such shape he could not get a driver's license so he did the only thing he could afford and keep his independence.
