574 IH I ran into a huge groundhog hole and broke the axle. I had to teach it arithmetic - put down 3 and carry the one. Put the loader down and backed it home. It welded well. So I spent all day discing a half acre so my sister can feed the bird sunflowers.

I sure hope you drop a few hog bombs down that hole and fill it in. My dad did the same thing with the 300U. Snaped the spindle part way. Took a couple of months before the wheel finaly feel of. Can remember my dad had a heart attack back then. Like early 70s. Was around $200.oo for the whole spindle then.

I broke an axle on a 1950 Oliver with fuel tanks and cab. Luckly, it broke out enought that the housing kept it from hitting the tanks. After it taking out two bull gears, that was the axle that broke my back. But I wish I had it back, surely it wouldn't break anything loading it on my trailer.
