Have any of you guys tried this stuff? Want to re reflect your lites. Shiny surfaces, anything like that. This is on U'tube and today I thought to give it a try. Going to do the plastic reflectors on one of my old lawn tractors. Here is a piece of Clear packing tape with three very thin coats. You need to watch the video. Use very thin coats just a little at a time. Needs to be surgical clean and good painting conditions. Also have It FLAT. Take your time. Very good results. It makes as close to factory reflector as I can get. Very shinny! Only problem is it is not cheap. This little 6oz can is just over $9.oo.

how to paint this stuff

Adding a note. Yes this stuff comes out VERY shinny. Am going to try that reflector back in a few days. Yes give it a try on your reflectors if they were not originally silver plated. Silver reflects super well. This stuff is not going to be that good but should be close to the painted factory reflectors on garden tractors and such. If you have an interest in it buy a $9.oo can and practice strick painting practices. The picture with the packing tape you could actually see a fuzzy reflection. Pretty neat stuff. I was very impressed. When I do that reflector I will post a new thread about it. Watch the U'tube v8deo the guy did with some glass. Amazing !
