from what I've seen at local auctions the trend seems to be that the older small tractors are off by about 1000.00 from 2 or 3 years ago.

Folks on here seem to think you can not buy things like those two wd 45 for 4 to 5 hundred. Old tractors are just cheap. I have made that sale since they started but about my last one. All the bigger tractors were pretty much no sale. Only thing I can say in defense for the auction at least they do announce no sale instead of having a pawn bidder. I do think they have bid in at least two more of the larger tractors. Beautiful day for sure. Where are you from 2x4?

Where was that sale ? In my part of Tn. I haven't seen any prices like that. Could be that we have several that use shill bidders. A couple of the auctioneers have guys that buy the cheap items for them for later resale. Not many around that I even bother going to.

20 years ago, when I first started to play with old tractors, a frapped out Ford 8n was easily $3K. I still see tractors priced high on Craigslist, some have been on there for years. A lot seemed to have been inherited, they want to get back what dad put into it, but it will never happen.

Lee this one was right south of Waverly there at there yard. Have it ever year. And you are right Travor and you Clarksville bunch do a lot of bidding for the auction company. Hard to know what sells and what does not.

That'd be about right for my area last year a guy had a group of Super A and 140 Farmalls all ran looked fair don't think any broke a thousand$ takes a real good N Ford to go over
a thousand$

I watched some of the Tyler Brothers sale in Maryville and equipment went pretty high, didn't wait to see what the tractors did but it was not a wide selection.
