I need a 4.00 x 19 tube for a TO 30. Local TSC didn't have one on the shelf so I called the store in San Marcos. I told the guy what I needed. He responded "Is that a lawn tractor?" I said "No, a real tractor" He said "No, we don't carry them". GRRRRRRRRR> I should have known better.

Easy to find call your local motorcycle shop the yare very likely to have them. Common dirt bike front tire size

Try your local tire store. If they don't have one on the shelf, they can probably have it the next morning. The tire wholesaler I dealt with was 60 miles away, and if I ordered it by 6 pm I'd have it the next morning.

I have had EXACTLY that same thing happen AFTER I went to the tire store and told them it was a tractor and they told me I had to go to TSC.

Bet it wasn't Randy! I don't know anybody in Hartland, but besides Randy your best bets are Spartan in Brighton, or Howell (same name, different owners). Did you try the new Rural King where WalMart used to be in Hartland?

normally I'd go to the World Wide Tire shop just down the road but they are closed on Sat.. pm

I've also used the knobby type tires on those 19 inch front tires and they work well

Actually most stores would classify it as a lawn tractor tube. pretty easy to find, around here. They have got where they make tubes to fit a pretty wide range of sizes.

I just bought 2 new rear tires for the van from Randy last week. He's never in the store anymore. He's out delivering fuel. He can't find a driver to hire.

This was years ago. I only deal with Randy now. I had a post about him a while back. He is the reason I have to get my fuel tank sited and powered. He knows I have a fuel tank sitting out back because he found it for me and sent me to buy it. Here it sits a year and a half later and I still have not set it up. So we get chewed on a bit if we call for fuel and just a tractor is sitting there...lol. I think that is job 2 on the list come mid April. Was job one until the tree fell on the tractors last month. Randy used to have his SIL driving the truck. Not sure what happened to the kid.

If I am reading the numbers correctly that is the size tube for a Model "A" car. Just check anyone who sells tires for old show cars. Think I got it right.

I'm between Manchaca and Buda west of 35. Thanks. I have rims and almost new tires and actually 1 good tube. Just trying to find something on a Sat. afternoon. All the real stores are closed by then
