Anybody tried to spray Rust-oleum Farm & Equipment paint with a HVLP gun. Label says Brush, Roller and Airless sprayer.

I would not see why it would matter, make sure you have reducer and solvent that work before putting in a gun.

Staying close to what you asked. I painted a couple of steel bars like six years ago with Rustoleum industrial rattle can. Now it was around 80? weather, in the shade, and low humidity. Looked like glass. If has been outdoors all of this time and is just showing a tiny bit of exposure. Very very little. And this is Apple Red paint. Very pleased. I know you can buy it in bulk cans but one of the other guys will need to finish this thread. Always like Rustoleum paints. Not $150.oo dollar a gallon car paint, but just fine for us backyard guys.

I use it with a HVLP and it works OK for me. I suspect they don’t want it thinned down far enough to work well in a HVLP gun though. I have never used it on anything that needs a high quality shine and that might make a difference if it is thinned farther than they recommend.
