Power steering fluid in MF 165

I thought I read the other day what would work in the power steering on a MF 165. Was it ATF of some kind?
I have searched but can't find it.

While I cannot say for sure since I do not know that tractor as such but it is has a belt drive power steering pump very good chance ATF will work just fine. Dextron 4 or 4 is what I would use. My Ford 841 the owners manual calls for type F ATF but I run the Dextron 4/5 in it because it is the new universal ATF
 
I don't know what Massey's take ?
But I did have to go back and look at those pictures again today.
Something about those smiling pretty faces brightened up my day.
If the one with the REAL long hair keeps working on or around machinery she really should tie it up as that can be very dangerous ! Good to see no jewelry on the hands either that can get caught in stuff. Ask Jimmy Fallon IIRC he is the one that recently tore a finger off when his ring caught on a coffee table.
 
I knew a gal who worked at an Auto parts store in Norfolk VA back when I was In the Navy. She was missing her ring finger on her left hand. I asked her out one time and she told me she was married but due to the finger being missing she could not wear a ring. She then told me how she lost her finger. She said one day she had to climb up on a shelve to get a part and she jumped off and her ring got caught on a nail and well and she ripped her finger off because of that ring
 
after I got married in 78 my first job was in a factory. was highly recommended that no wedding ring be worn. have not worn mine since as fingers outgrew it.
 
Permatran oil, same as transmission. Agco Permantran 821 XL. This is replacement for M 1129 spec oil. Takes about 1.5 quarts.
