Hello tractor forum readers
I have a case 930 propane tractor that I'm wanting
To sell, it's been sitting in my shed unused for a while now
Wandering of its value $ ?
Thanks Jerry

The value of your tractor , is like asking , "how long is a rope ? " Depends on
many things with your tractor , that you have given us no idea about . We would
need to know , will it run, brakes work , power steering work , condition of tires
, and shape of tin work . Is this a over all usable tractor , or a parts unit ? I
like to run 8 speed ck 930 tractors , but I would not pay as much for a older 6
speed 930 . Do you see what i am getting at . Livestock farmers in the east will
have more use for this tractor , and be willing to pay more than crop farmers in
the west will. So the range is wide from scrap value , and depending on the shape
, all the way to $8,000.00 for a perfect ready to farm with tractor .A average
tractor will fetch between $ 2,500.00 and $4,000. here is southern Ontario. Bruce

Where are you located? I have been wanting a big propane tractor to play with.

I saw a decent looking hand clutch 930 diesel sell for $1500 this summer. To get past $4000 a diesel will need to be perfect. A gas will be half that, don't know what being propane does to that value, but would wager closer to gas money.

My dad bought a like new set of 18.4-34 tires for $1250 that came with a propane 930 case. Had a broken front spindle, filed the points, put a battery in and it fired right up.

A picture or two makes it easier to tell, also where it is makes a difference. That propane will always
be just slightly above scrap price for minimum because that propane head is worth more to pullers. That
is assuming it os a true propane head. There were some 930 gas that were converted to propane and didn't
get the head changed.

A little more about the case 930 it is located in valley falls ks. I Have owned it sense 1975 used it for farming ran perfect when parked in shed, just no longer need it. It has a cab on it also, I believe it's a 1967 model, it's always been parked inside, hasn't been started in 15 years probably, I'm sure with a hot battery it would still Fire up though,
