six foot disk mfr

My sil bought a six ft disc a couple of years ago and the right front gang has lots of slack at the bearings but we don't know who made them. It was rusty and red. I have up close pics but can't seem to send anywhere. The top of block has two bolts and back side has two grease zerks.

The pics came thru after half hour.

There have likely been scores of
manufacturers that made small discs
over the years but they mostly all used
the same bearings.
Take a gang apart and measure the shaft
size and the length of the spool.
Most will be 1" square shaft and 7 1/2"
long spool. If that is what you have
then something like these King Kutter
bearings at the link below will fit.
Old discs from the 1950s will likely
have 7/8" square shaft and 7" spacing.
Those will be hard to find bearings for
if you can at all.

Appears to be plain ole white iron bearing. They were kinda loose when new. Just grease couple times a day if using all day.

(quoted from post at 17:28:05 03/15/18) Looks like my old Ford 6 ft disc just newer.

It was rust and red when purchased but my sil painted it blue to match his little Ford diesel.
I'm going to measure it after while.
