Today is Pie Day ,

March 14,3.142????, infinite..just look at any wheel on a tractor and go to measuring and figuring to get the area of the total circumference. PIE R SQUARE
Radius x the Square = the area of the square,,. Ok Math genuis S , correct all mistakes ,. LOL .but i had fun with the little gal at the license Branch that said that Kroger were Letting 8 inch pies gofor$3.14 , so i dropped by and got a peach pie for my sAraand me

OK, you asked for corrections, here they are. First of all, it's Pi day (not pie day) ..... Pi as in the math symbol Pi or numerically 3.14 (and so on). Second, area of the total circumference ....... hmmmm, not making much sense. How about the area of the circle? Formula should be Area = Pi x R squared = area of the circle, not area of the square. I wish I had the math symbols which my keyboard doesn't have. BUT on the other hand, who cares right? And if you had fun, that's the important part.

Wow, thanks for getting me going on that. Now I'll have to search for that routine, and his "what it was was football". Andy Griffith was a great comic, very funny without potty words.

Quite alRight with the corrections crazy horse <>.I knew i muffed the whole post from thestart ,.. I am looking for the Pi Symbol ???,didn't realize until after posted that i typed "square" instead of "circle"/// I ThoughtBoy , Jim , They are gonna drum You off This Forum With all Those Foul Ups ,,..LOL ,. So faryouare The Only one that cared enuf to correct me ,.,.

My favorite pie is Juneberry pie, but since the Mrs. also started making pumpkin pie from our homegrown pumpkin and honey from around my little farm as I have pictured its a hard one to call. So I just keep quiet and eat whatever one she makes!

Diameter of a circle x 3.14 gives the radius, but from what I understand, PI occurs very often in nature in regard to math calculations, to the point of being an almost magical number.

Actually Dave, 22/7 or 3 1/7 is a more definitive and accurate number than the continuing number of 3.1415 ............ and so on forever. Either way, a slice of pie or Pi is good stuff either way.
