Yes, JD orchard but would that not be a 60 to be a 53 or if AO a 52 as the last a was a 52 and first 60 was a 53. Look the same.

Haven't found snow yet but was advert zed as a 53 ao. Am I that dumb!

A lot of tractors were model year carryover like cars today but with no title if a tractor was built as a 52 but not sold untill 53 the buyer would call it a 53 because that was the year he bought it, not the year it was built.

This posting is like a mystery theater where they give a few clues and leave the audience to fill in the blanks!

Any body that knows older JD as in the 2 cylinder would automaticaly know that. Same thing when case guy posts we have no idea what he is talking about as we don't know Case as Case was not hardly any sold in this area after the letter series and very few of them.

How about locating one with all the sheetmetal, talk to your body shop about what information they need to make it, then go and get the pics and measurements that the shop needs?

Its possible the AO, being a low production model was built in 53 but on a quick Google search I can’t find any specific information about it. The R was built until 1954.
