100 years ago today John Deere bought the Waterloo gas engine co. Thus launching JD into the tractor business.

We all like our brands but John Deere is just about the only company making equipment for any length of time that hasn't either been bought out or merged,says a lot for the company and their products. We've never owned a Deere tractor not because of quality of product or service it's always come down to tight margin and cost.
