Just curious on the value of a 1965 Farmall 656. It has decent tires and was restored a few years ago. It is gas. Please let me know.

Here's what I do, go look at all the auction sites that post results of previous transactions, select from the pictures the
tractor that looks comparable to yours, where you are located makes a difference. Then post a video of it starting, and
operating. All in all, it's only worth what someone will give you for it.

Seems to be what they bring around here as well. Hydro or gear drive? I have 2 rowcrop 656's. 1 hydro and 1 gear drive. Both are diesel, but I payed less than what they are going for now.

The term restored is a BIG RED FLAG TO ME since most of the time that means nothing but a paint job. A TRUE restore will cost more then what the machine is worth and to do TRUE RESTORE IT IS BROUGHT BACK TO FACTORY spec from top to bottom

It's only worth $4000+ if it's got NEW tires, a PROFESSIONAL paint job, and some sort of major engine or transmission work confirmed with receipts.

You just can't tell people selling them that. Most think a beat-up old gasser with bald tires is worth $7500, which is nuts.

Gas tractors are just not as valuable as diesels. With usable, but not new, tires, runs decent, drives decent, no unusual noises, amateur paint job, $3500 tops.

Work clothes, so-so tires, runs but has noises, leaks, a little hesitant (does not instantly throttle up) probably around 2,500 dollars.

Thank you all for the replies. It is not completely restored it is gas and leaks a little but not bad. I will attach a photo of it.
