Can you please elaborate on the dumbell gear? I have been trying to diagnose a 7840 sle , the tractor will only creep forward or backwards very slowly and reluctantly in any gear or range and there is a loud scream or ratcheting sound from the gearbox.There is no fault codes showing and the transmission pressure is OK. The gearbox will calibrate OK and all the powershift gears are present and change OK. I would be grateful for any help.
