I haven't seen anything from Bryce in quite awhile. I just hope he is busy and don't have time. I know he is a very busy guy. Always enjoy his messages.

He pops up once in a while....hes maybe busy in the shop rebuilding his latest toy he got (and posted about) in Feb..

Well, I think he lives in Wa State near Idaho. He has a job and a Girlfriend and a new to him PU plus several tractors. If you were his age, where would you be spending your time???

Saw a couple of his ads but don't remember what they were for: tractors, implements? The ads even had address with town and a phone number. With a girl friend doubt he needs it for others that may be interested.

Funny you should wonder! I haven't been to the site in about a week, and got done early today, and thought I would snoop!

Been very busy, snow is melting fast, and chores are starting to build up. Spent most of today spray moms fruit trees, and helping her prune a little.

Haven't gotten much done on the new 2006 LBZ Duramax, but I did buy a frame for it. Traveling to Pasco WA Wednesday for it.

In the mean time, I have had yet ANOTHER injector failure on my 2001 LB7 Duramax, this time about 13,000 miles in, I have lost 2 injectors. These were remanns from Diesel Logic in Florida. NEVER AGAIN will I buy from them, they have been horrible to deal with.

Also finished rebuilding the engine in Casey's new Blazer the other day. She will be coming to stay with us during her spring break in about 2 weeks, and then driving the car home. She is doing extremely well in College. Straight A's! Very very proud of her.

Actually I do live in Idaho, Sandpoint to be exact. But we are about 1 1/2 hours from Spokane WA. I kind of use that to tell people my whereabouts, because no one knows where sandpoint is! :p

I don't remember if I posted these pics when I first got the truck or not? This is of the front end with all the bad stuff stripped off. I've gotten a White front clip that I need to start prepping and painting, and I am getting a frame soon. Other than that, should be about all I need??

Ya, most days it seems that way!

I also seem to be doing pretty good, but I really need to start working towards a house of my own. I am going to be 20 this year. Not in any real hurry to move out, but I need to start thinking about it. We really have a big house, and 2 nice shops, and everything we all want here, and most of the time, it takes all 3 of us to keep this place going, so it works well!

This winter, my mom fell off the roof and broke her back in 3 spots, so I had to play mom and Bryce for about 6 weeks, and continue working in town. Really don't know what my folks would have done if I wasn't around? Familys don't realize how much each person in them matters until one of them is laid up!

Bryce, I saved this photo you posted because it reminds me of my wife when she was about 20. We have been married over 44 years now.

I do! I had an association board meeting in Kalispell (MT) so the wife and I decided to get some vacation in and see the area. Flew into Spokane and spent the night in Sandpoint and did the lake tour the following day. Went on to Glacier National Park and toured the area around Kalispell before my meeting.

Very good! That's awesome! This was from this last summer. FINALLY got her on the SuperM....;)

Bryce: Until the last fifty years or so families lived together or at least close by. Multi-generational family units where common. I think it worked well for all involved. The old can care for the young and pass on the family heritage. We all have different needs and abilities that change as we age. A true family balances out better I think.

People that are retiring have HUGE houses with only two people in them. Mean while their kids live in smaller houses while trying to raise the grand kids. Kind of backwards to me.

Yep, I totally agree! We have 20 acres, and grannys 40 next door. We burn firewood for heat, and mom has a MASSIVE garden that mostly feeds us. I handle all the heavy work, rototilling, hauling manure, firewood, plowing / shoveling snow.

Good idea to start thinking of buying a house. Sounds like you have time to be real selective. Wait for one close by then you can continue to use Moms shop.

Bryce, Glad you are doing okay. I almost knew you were and just keeping busy, but was wondering. I have a brother up in St. Maries, Id. I've never been there but would like to someday. Take care and hope for some good weather.

FYI on your LB7 injectors. If it does not say Bosch or GM on the box, they aren't good enough. All others are junk and will just frustrate you. As you have likely found out, knock off injector warranties aren't worth the paper it's written on. Just got done doing injectors in a customer's LB7, putting Bosch in place of the aftermarket injectors the "performance" shop (i.e. parts hangers) told him were Bosch. I hate it when one of my customers has to spend good money to fix something again. All my diesel repairs are done with OE or OES parts, or I don't work on it.

So,next time somebody asks about the wisdom of buying a Duramax just because they "might" need it once in a while, are you going to give them the same advice that some of us gave you? lol
