Laser level for backhoe

Was looking at some tile work that I need to get done at our farm yesterday....and got to thinking.....do they make a laser level
setup for mounting to a backhoe like they do on a dozer?

I have a 580K hoe, pretty decent machine. A lot of the places have natural fall to them already, so running a smooth depth wouldnt
be hard, as the natural grade is more than enough....but there are a few areas that ill have to "go under" a bit to accomplish
what needs done....

I have a Bosch laser transit, but itd be nice to be able to stay on the hoe....and not on/off all the time.....

Ideas?

Yes.
I have a laserplane 2000. Spectrphysics is the name brand.
It will do about 1500-2000' and a %grade drop.

Works well and I have a large magnetic receiver for my excavator stick or onto a bar on the dozer blade.
This is an old unit. Still works well.

The big receivers work with different laser brands as long as it reads the same laser frequency

I was talking to some stranger while waiting in a line and he said his neighbor has a backhoe that if you want to dig a 3 foot trench you just dial it in and the hoe won't dig any deeper and you can change the grade if needed at the same time.
