This is a lady driving a Massey tractor. She was headed to the South Pole, the first woman to drive a tractor to the South Pole. Her team added the super duper heater option in the cab and an extra fuel tank on the back hitch with heated fuel line. She drove all of the way but had an emergency driver assisting for the 30-40 days it took to make it to the Pole. They ran 20 hr days, the tractor was never shut down on the trip, except quick minor maintenance. Between Bruce Jenner and this lady , cast my vote for International Woman of the Year to Manon Ossevoort, the first woman to drive a tractor to the South Pole arriving on Dec 20, 2014.

That photo could have been taken here in central Alberta this morning. Maybe it was if it's a hoax like somebody suggested. There is a local vehicle though going on that trip .... interesting story .... not a hoax, on local TV too. Mind you, it could be fake news right?

I was listening to 60s on 6 Friday morning. A female listener called in and said today is National Women's Day. DJ says "That was yesterday". Listener: "It was supposed to be but they took too long getting ready". Loved it.

Here is a picture taken in December 2014 at the South Pole with Ms Ossevoort lead driver and her support team with the Massey wheel tractor. She had 2 support pick up trucks carrying fuel, food, tents, people & supplies travelling with her, they pulled the tractor out of snow banks several times when she got stuck. Could be fake photo I'll leave you to have your own opinion on whether it really happened or not.
