pretty cool stuff. we found one of those off ellison bay wisconsin on the green bay side of lake michigan in about 45 feet of water. it was used to transfer cargo from ships across the ice in winter. the truck broke thru the ice and sunk. pretty neat vehicle.

One brand was called Snow Bird. Lots of them were used for mail delivery. Trouble was you had to take some of your car apart. Wonder how may got everything bolted back on for the summer?
